This guide will hopefully teach you how to install a style successfully. This works with every style, and is for all versions of vBulletin.

Instructions

Step 1: Download the style. You should have an "upload" or "images" folder inside, along with a "something.xml" file. (of course, with "something" being another word)

Step 2: Follow any given steps in the instructions given by the style maker. If no instructions are given, then follow the ones below in step 2b, if there are instructions on where to upload, then DO NOT do the ones below in step 2b, and follow the instructions that the STYLE MAKER wrote.

Step 2b: Open your FTP manager, and in your forum root, go into the folder "images" make a new folder called "styles", go into that, and make a new folder called whatever the style name is, go into that, make a new folder called "images", and upload all of the style files into that (misc, signature, reputation, avatar, statusicon folders... etc.)

Step 3: Go into your AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Download/Upload Styles.

Browse for the "something.xml" (as mentioned earlier), and select it. Then, fill out a style name, and the rest of the information, and import it.

Step 4: Go into AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings.

Make sure you check the box to allow users to change styles, and you can also set the new style to default, if you want. If you want people to only be able to use whatever style is default, then leave that little check box unchecked, so they can't choose more styles.

Step 5: Go into your AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager.

Scroll down just a little bit, and make sure all of the URLs to the images are correct. (You can always check your forum now, and see if all images are loading correctly), if not, then edit the image links to what you made them in Step 1.

Step 6: Enjoy your new style.

FAQ's

Problem: My images aren't loading correctly in my new style.
Solution: Make sure you followed Step 1 exactly, then go to AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager, and change the links to all of your image folders be "images/styles/stylename/images/foldername".

Problem: I cannot view my new style, it doesn't show up in style chooser.
Solution: You must make sure that you did everything in Step 3 and allowed users to select different styles. View blog reactions

Change User name

If any members want to change their username and you don't know just go with this step.

Admincp - Users - Search for user - at the User name write the name of user and click Find.

When the new page is load we go to user name and change it with what name want a member.

If we want from out member to answer any question for our forum or anything and don't know how to add this I will teach you how to do this.

Go to admincp - vBulletin Options - Human Verification - and at the menu of the right we choose Question & Answer Verification. Then click Save.
From this when load a page we see one Option:

You have not specified any questions. No validation will happen until a question is added.

We go under this options and click Add New Question.

Here we see 2 fields.
Question and Regular Expression.
At question we click for ex At the filed write Kosova Power
And at Regular Expression we write our Answer for this example Kosova Power.

You can add more than 1 question by clicking Add new question.

If you want to disable human verification for your members just go with this step:

1.Admincp - vBulletin Options - Human verification - and at the Options we see one menu at the right of screen.There we choose Disable and at the end choose Save.

In this lesson we will learn how to install new template at your forum.

1.First we Upload the template what we want at FTP:
1.1 At the foldes /forum/images/ but some templates had instructions when you get it to upload at /forum/images or /forum directory.
When your templates upload is done we go to admincp and go with this steps

2.Admincp - Styles & Templates - Download/Upload Style -
2.1 Import Style XML File -
2.1.1 at EITHER upload the XML file from your computer we Browse the .XML file from our Pc
2.1.2 Merge Into Style we choose Create new Style
2.1.3 Ignore Style Version we choose No if the .xml file is for our vBulletin version and Yes if our vBulletin version is no compitabile with template version.
2.1.4 Title for Uploaded Style - choose what name we want.
2.1.5 Parent Style - No parent style
2.1.6 Display Order - which number we want
2.1.7 Allow User Selection - what we want Yes or No.

3. Import and it's done

4.If we want to change another funcsion we just go to Styles & Templates Manage Style.

If you visit new vBulletin forums you can see that at top of page or at the Browser is Name of Forum Powered by vBulletin.

Question is How to change this phrase.This is simple.
Go to your Admincp - Languages & Phrases - Search in Phrases - and at Search for text we write Powered by vBulletin - when open a window with a result we find a phrases x_powered_by_vbulletin - then we go Edit and change this Phrase with the text what we want.
